Emme

M.A., CCC-SLP, Director of SLP Services

Emme received her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of Minnesota – Twin Cities and has been providing speech and language therapy since 2020. Her credentials include a Minnesota state speech therapy license, the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association’s certificate of clinical competence, as well as certification in the Picture Exchange Communication System (PECS) and the Beckman Oral Motor Protocol. Emme specializes in providing services to children with ASD in the areas of: receptive-expressive language development, speech sound production, motor speech disorders, alternative and augmentative communication, feeding, and more. The foundation of her clinical approach is helping individuals find their voice through child- and family-centered care.

Marina

M.A., CCC-SLP

Marina Parendo is a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP). She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from UW – Eau Claire in 2017 and completed her Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology from UW – River Falls in 2019. In 2020, Marina moved to the Twin Cities area, where she spent over three years working at an autism center, providing Speech-Language Therapy to individuals aged 2 to 21. She has a passion for working with and educating others about Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC). Outside of her professional life, Marina enjoys spending time outdoors during the summer, hiking with her husband and dog, and relaxing with a good book.

Amber

M.S CCC-SLP

Amber received her bachelor’s and master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from St. Cloud State University and has been providing speech-language therapy services since 2020. Her credentials include a Minnesota Department of Health and Minnesota Department of Education speech-language therapy dual-licensure and the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association’s certificate of clinical competence. Amber specializes in providing services to children with a variety of speech-language disorders including: Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), receptive-expressive language, pragmatic/social language, articulation and phonology, fluency, alternative and augmentative communication (AAC), and more. Amber has experience in a variety of pediatric settings including school-based (K-12), private practice/outpatient, and telehealth platforms. The foundation of her approach is rooted in building trusting relationships with her children and families in order to best support their communication growth and development.

Kaitlyne

MA, OTR

Kaitlyne earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology in 2019 and her Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from the University of North Dakota in 2024. She is licensed by the Minnesota Board of Occupational Therapy and is registered through the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy. Additionally, Kaitlyne holds a certification in the Montreal Cognitive Assessment (MoCA). With a strong background in youth and adolescent mental health services, Kaitlyne specializes in sensory processing, self-regulation, fine and gross motor control and coordination, self-care, cognitive skills, social interactions, executive functioning, and more. Her approach focuses on establishing meaningful, client- and family-centered goals aimed at enhancing independence and functionality in daily activities.

Shelly

MA, OTR

Shelly holds a Bachelor’s degree in Health and Human Physiology from the University of Iowa and a Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from Radford University. She has extensive experience working with individuals across the lifespan, from children to older adults, in diverse settings, including skilled nursing facilities, schools, and behavioral health environments. Shelly is committed to delivering individualized interventions, customizing strategies to align with each child’s unique strengths and needs. Having recently relocated to the Twin Cities, she is eager to further develop her expertise while contributing to the well-being and growth of children and families within the community.

Madison

Intern-Occupational Therapy

Madison earned a Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in Occupational Therapy in Taiwan. She then studied abroad to finish her second Master’s in sports and exercise science at the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities School of Kinesiology. Madison specializes in pediatric occupational therapy, serving children with different medical conditions and diagnoses. As an international student with extensive academic and clinical training in Taiwan and the United States, Madison brings a unique perspective to her work. Her diverse background and multicultural experiences enrich her approach to pediatric occupational therapy, allowing her to adapt interventions to meet the needs of children and families from different cultural contexts. She can provide services, including sensory integration therapy, social skills development, gross and fine motor skills, activities of daily living training, communication support, behavioral interventions, parent and caregiver education, play-based therapy, and emotional regulation.

Geoffrey

M.A., LICSW

Geoffrey’s military career with the U.S. Marines was unexpectedly cut short due to a brain injury, leading him to redirect his focus to academics. He earned a BA in Psychology before pursuing graduate studies in Human Development and Family Science at NDSU, where he specialized in parental interaction, psychosocial development deviations, and prevention strategies. Driven by a commitment to deepening his expertise, he went on to complete a Master’s in Social Work with a concentration in advanced clinical practice. His career in behavioral health has spanned various Minnesota programs, working with both adults and children. Ultimately, he discovered his true passion in the EIDBI field, where he now dedicates himself to early intervention, laying the foundation for successful and productive livesfor children and families navigating neurodevelopmental and neurodivergent challenges.
